Momcat + babycatMy name is Joanna.

In my prior lives, I’ve been a nonprofit fundraiser in Texas, an academic librarian in Massachusetts, and an account manager in New York.

After moving around the country for the last ten years, I’ve wound up in Colorado with my 16-pound beige tabby, Jack. I’m hoping this is the last move I’ll make for a good long while.

I love all things food related: cooking, baking, grocery shopping, cookbook reading, going to restaurants, trying weird ice cream flavors, etc.

I also love running and hiking. I have an on-again, off-again relationship with learning the guitar and knitting lacy things.

Baobei literally translates to mean “treasure” in Chinese, but is also used as a term of endearment for loved ones. Baobei is my family’s pet name for me, and is also the name of  my feral druid in World of Warcraft.
